Maury Simoneau is employed by BHP within their Potash business, and has spent the last 8 years of his career working on the Jansen Potash Project in Saskatchewan Canada. Starting as a Site Superintendent and progressing to Manager Project Delivery, Maury is committed to continually improving project culture through demonstrating felt leadership with sharp focus on strong work planning practices that promote the safe execution of work.
Maury is a safety-focused leader, and a productivity-driven construction professional, with consistent accomplishments directing efficient operations within project teams.
Maury has 15 years of diverse construction experience working in a number of natural resource based industries including mining, oil and gas, and forestry. Throughout his career, Maury has consistently demonstrated the ability to be a forward thinker and resourceful collaborator, with an ability to respectfully lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver successful completion of complex projects.
Maury holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in Forest Management, and a Diploma with Honours in Forest Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. In his free time, Maury will be in local hockey rinks or on the ski slopes with his wife Terri and their four children.
